Pretty well located for transport.
A few eateries and pubs around but St Kilda is only a short walk away and plenty down there

I've got cheap accom 500-600m from the MCG and a short tram ride to the city itself.

Booked in for Mother’s Day brekky at a cafe down the road, received a second text today whilst at the footy requesting we pre order our drinks & food by 6pm tonight - has really given me the shits. This isn’t common practice surely?
Certainly didn’t pass the pub test with the boys today…

It’s common practice in NSW for special events like Mothers Day but haven’t heard of it here before.

With the AFL advertising the Doug Nicholls Round why is JHF in the advertising? Ed Sheeran is more indigenous than JHF.

I'm not sure of Ed Sheeran's background though.

I'd assume so from his mum or biological father as Fabian from memory was from Darwin not the Kimberley.
Mind you having said that my Dad was born in Darwin and our mob is out near Borroloola.
