This is on every night on Channel 10, resulting in the IPL being on a min half an hour delay.

Ditch FUNKING Dave, who watched the old codger?

Yes, I think so. Selling out shop, or Off Licence. Not a drive through though

Nothing came. Then oneday I had to go into the bank because the ATM machine was broke. When I handed my card over to get the cash, guess what? "sorry Sir but your name on your card doesn't match your name on your account"
Yes, says I, I have told you about it before.
"OK we will let you use it this time but you can't use it again. You need a new card"
Finally got the new card, and low and behold, it has the same bloody spelling on it as the last one
goto a)

Me thinks we might use different banks  Was all set for disappointment after reading of your experience. Went to nearest branch late Monday afternoon...explained to customer services girl...she types furiously on computer and tells me a new card will be sent on 25th. I have no choice but to take her word and leave expecting the worst. Bugger me  a new card has just been delivered by the postie and it's now showing the correct details. My faith is restored (for now) in 'the sign of the black horse'

People who think they are so important that they have to wear their mobile phone ear piece around shopping centres etc. Seriously, are your job or social phone calls that important? Not likely.
It looks stupid.

On that point... People who talk loudly on their mobiles when in a quiet environment. We have 2 of them at work.

Are you sure you are not being "Ageist" - I have never watched him, but I have met some very able people well into their 70s amd even 80s - like, for example, a guy who got his private pilot's licence at 84.

I reckon I would rather watch ageing commedians than old cricketers who have retired in a nothing competition.

That's what happened to this guy from Horsham - when he got caught speeding for the third time the predjudiced and "ageist" local magistrate said he was too old to drive a high powered turbocharged car and took his licence for keeps - so he proved the magistrate wrong by proving he could pass the flying course and licence tests!

Pople are born stupid - it doesn't come with age. Dementia is a disease some but not all get, and is not automatic with age.

Being berated by some bloke in the parking lot of the local State Swim, because it was allegedly "really dangerous of me" to stop and wait when I was only halfway through turning into the entrance.

And he might have been right, if I hadn't stopped because some bloke was reversing out of a park right by the entrance just as I turned into it, thereby occupying the same space-time coordinates which I myself was trying to occupy.

Seriously, who lets these knuckleheads have drivers' licenses?

That reminds me of the old bugger who stopped in the middle of Grand Junction Rd yesterday because I was waiting to do a U turn and he must have thought I was going to pull out in front of him or deliberately hit him...

What's worse jtc is that even had you gone and got the beers you would have had to wait ages for them to warm up to your preferred drinking temperature
