Someone I know has been in police custody for about a week. Is there any way I can find out what he is charged with?

I tried a search of court lists and nothing came up. I don't have much in the way of details or much knowledge of how it all works. If he has been locked up for a week, I assume he must have appeared before a court in that time, coppers can't just lock you away like that?
I'll try another search and see what I see.

Noticed the same thing on Saturday playing cricket and Sunday at Semaphore with multiple Dragonflies getting around.

Agreed, had 4 around the pool for about 3 beers yesterday.
