Oh what I wouldn't give for a drive thru. Apart from McDonalds, KFC and BK, we don't have others.

Whilst I'm at it.

Having to go to the supermarket to get my booze, queing to get onto the cark park, driving around 20 minutes until you finally get a space, then queing at the till whilst some fwt decides they're going to pay their £1,20 grocery bill with a cheque before finally queing to get off the car park, all in the p1ssing rain.

Agreed, nothing more annoying than someone in the 8 items or less queue deciding to pay with a credit card. FFS, that should be a cash only aisle if you are paying under 10 bucks.

And at say 4 cents a litre and a 60 litre tank perhaps! Even at 10 cents a litre that's only $6.00.
I fill up on Tuesday or Wednesday if I'm going past, but otherwise I don't think what you save is worth the waste of time.

Can you send me only $6.00 per week please? A lump sum of $300.00 per year will also be acceptable, that allows a 2 week discount for payment in advance.

Hmmm ... if I indulge my impulse to retire young I may have to revise my habits/attitudes - perhaps my time will be worth less then. :?

Nothing came so I went into the branch and told them. They said they would send a replacement.
Nothing came. Then oneday I had to go into the bank because the ATM machine was broke. When I handed my card over to get the cash, guess what? "sorry Sir but your name on your card doesn't match your name on your account"
Yes, says I, I have told you about it before.
"OK we will let you use it this time but you can't use it again. You need a new card"
Finally got the new card, and low and behold, it has the same bloody spelling on it as the last one
goto a)

Me thinks we might use different banks  Was all set for disappointment after reading of your experience. Went to nearest branch late Monday afternoon...explained to customer services girl...she types furiously on computer and tells me a new card will be sent on 25th. I have no choice but to take her word and leave expecting the worst. Bugger me  a new card has just been delivered by the postie and it's now showing the correct details. My faith is restored (for now) in 'the sign of the black horse'

Talkback radio

Give me the strength to turn it off, not listen in (just in case) for any work issues, then get into argument with hosts / producers, and waste an hour with angst and mental energy when said hour would have been much better served listening to music.
