The Gun Debate in the US.

Surely after this innocent kid was killed (http://www.news.com.au/national-news/vi ... 6700172461) the argument of more guns on the streets has no validity.

Where's Piers Morgan gone?

Marking really, REALLY bad essays.

It's partly my own fault that this is irritating me so much, because I was told from the beginning NOT to edit the whole thing, just to point out the more obvious faults and errors. But I'm an editor by trade and if I don't point out their mistakes, how are they meant to learn from them? It does rather suck big donkey dicks though, when every second or third word in an essay is either misspelt or misused. I've just spent two hours editing and writing comments on an essay, and at the end I got really annoyed by the observation that 'a short story is supposed to be easy to read' (the premise of the essay was to discuss certain unique characteristics of the short story), so I typed in big red letters, 'IT'S NOT NECESSARILY A GLOWING RECOMMENDATION IF A SHORT STORY IS EASY TO READ, BECAUSE SO IS FIFTY SHADES, AND THAT'S COMPLETE BOLLOCKS' and then accidentally uploaded the marked essay (all essays for this topic are submitted and returned online) without having deleted my comment like I'd meant to. :?
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.
