Woolworths Rewards Card discounts. Because I always forget my card, and then I always forget which are the normal discounts and which are the ones reserved for cardholders. (Yeah, I know they're the orange ones, but I see the low price and I get excited and forget.)

I haven't got a Woolworths card because I have more cards already than a wallet can hold.
I sometimes forget and front the checkout with one of those "card-holder only" items too.

When it goes through at the higher price I notice and say I don't want it then if it is card-holder only.
Often enough they then give me the discount price anyway, but I don't do it deliberately as it is more trouble than it is worth.

Doxycycline. I take this crap for my skin and it makes my stomach feel like I've got a permanent acidic wine hangover.

My Pommy mates who are still banging on about the Ashes. It's hardly a glorious triumph. It'd be OK if they'd just SAY 'Yeah, it got rained out and that sucks' instead of all the arrogant rubbish that I was looking forward to saying MYSELF.

Yeh, it doesn't go down well on an empty stomach - it definitely needs something their to coat the stomach lining.

Will drinking milk with it help? Will it burn a hole in my stomach?

Something else that gives me the sh1ts - the student who sat behind me in the library today and kept breathing really heavily. I wanted to punch his lights out.

Gas Works Modbury, in particular their installers.

Scheduled for today to have gas connected to the abode, exciting times as we run out of hot water daily and the continuous unit would be most welcome.

They arrived at 10am instead of 8am - I'd arranged to work at home to the inconvenience of many.

They wanted to add a surcharge as we had a tin roof. That got shoved squarely up his date.

They wanted to install the gas pipe on the outside of the wall for all to see. A nice, shiny copper pipe.

We now have hot water available from the kitchen taps, where it was tested. Nowhere else though. Pricks.

Upside for me is the account is only 50% paid. Might remain that way for a while, even once they get their shit together.

That was Gas Works Modbury, for those playing at home and looking for someone not to do business with. The installers are from Defined Plumbing & Gas.

I have tried that skin medication.

Didn't really like it either. My skin specialist now has me on Minomycin/Akamin (for Rosacea), which is quite good. I have to have regular blood tests for possible effect on kidneys though, but so far, so good.

Roaccutane, which I took for acne, in my mid 20's, 20 years ago, was probably the worst, had terrible side-effects. For me, the nose bleeds was the worst side effect i had at that time.
