Miss Boon got her L's yesterday so took her down along Ocean Steamers Road down the back of the Port last night for her first drive.

One, it's a great spot for anyone with young adults learning to drive. You're on the road, but you're not, you've got stop and give way signs, a railway crossing and if you head around the corner onto Grand Trunkway you can head right down to Torrens Island power station, go to Garden Island, around the car park at the Torrens Island markets. It's a great way to get some road time and not see another car for the whole trip. Perfect for beginners.

I also rate Mrs Boon sitting in the back seat cracking it, well, I don't rate that so much, certainly didn't last night but I do rate her accepting the offer to get out the car. Strangely satisfying leaving her on the side of the road and driving away.

Saw Hannah's FB post come up last night scrolling through, read the first line about no alcohol and thought it was some health kick, thought stuff that.. kept scrolling down then thought hang on a minute, that doesn't seem normal.. surely she's not preggas.. went back up and read the rest

Catching up with the podcast of my lad on the quiz with no name with Jars & Lewie from Thursday. Jars command of the English language is appalling. So much so despite only getting 6/10 they credited him with 9/10 and $90. One question he got wrong was the starting time for the Australia v Ireland game next week, which was dumb.... he is going to the game and only had to check his ticket!

Exit row on tonight's flight with an empty seat next to me.
