Went upstairs to the restaurant a few times and took advantage of the "all you can eat carvery" which included 4hrs of booze for the princely sum of $25.

I was 50 in 1993, and I just turned 81 in October 2024.

I'm somewhat surprised and releaved that I'm healthy, reasonably fit, and I still have brown hair, but turning grey at the temples. I'll keep my fingers crossed but, hopefully, like a fair number of my wider family I'll make it to 98 at least...

I had my 80th Birthday in Cardiff, Wales, after driving around both Ireland and Wales with my wife.

When you're in a management meeting and it's mentioned that the factory stopped for 25 minutes yesterday due to an "air supply" issue so you say "perhaps it was all out of love". Only one person understood :oops: :oops:
