The line needs to be upgraded, wouldn't it be great to be able to catch the train to go and watch Sturt play on their new home ground? ;)

Why touring cricket teams only play 3 day warm-up games these days.
Surely another day out in the middle actually playing out 2-innings game and getting used to the conditions would be of far more benefit than another net session?

I'm impartial to watching Grand Designs Australia (and the original Pommie version).

There seems to be a significant representation of 'Molly' couples on the show (NTTAWWT).

Does this reflect the 'personal taste' of the presenter, Peter Maddison (NTTAWWT)?

I think you have to nominate yourself and perhaps they are keener to be seen through the trials and tribulations, but I would have no idea why.

here goes in 1984 the then AN who was running the country trains suspended the service to Victor Harbor. Steam Ranger in a sense took over the line running steam trains on it. In 1987 the then STA suspended train services to Northfield and Bridgewater again lack of progress. In 1995 the broad gauge line to Melbourne was made standard and all those stations became no more. ARTC took over running the lines. With Steam Ranger moving to Mount Baker the line from Mount Baker Junction to Mount Baker is broad not standard. Most of the Stations after Belair are no longer there or need to be major repaired so pretty much the Rail network will not go any further than Belair.

Kinda right there LOL. Bit of research from books and knowledge about it helps. Knowing the Adelaide Network also helps my old man drove railcars over there for years.

What are my workplace rights when personal items of mine have been taken off my desk?

I'd say it's your right to find the f**kwit who did it, and get your stuff back, with interest. I'm no lawyer though...

Depends on circumstances.

What is the item? A pile of pornos or family photos would be treated differently.

If you aren't authorised to have any personal items on your desk then your boss can shift them.

Pair of Sunglasses which are customised for Sporting purposes. Normally place them in a case but last week the case was lost in my luggage from Christmas Holidays which in the double check search of home this weekend I have now located and only thing inside was the spare lenses :(

I never leave home with out them especially during summer as I don't like to be outside with out sunglasses on. Last thing I remember having them was collecting them out of my cricket bag from the night before, can even remember placing them on my head as I walked inside. Only problem I have no idea who has taken them as I had computer issues last week and was floating between 2 desks of which Friday morning I spent at the other one.

Right, I misinterpreted.

You were talking about simple case of theft. That's illegal and any employer worth their salt would be turning the place (including the staff) upside down to find out who.

No worries, if not returned on my desk tomorrow morning I shall be requesting that they be returned ASAP with no questions asked. Very concerning as this is the 2nd major incident inside 3 months regarding a break in trust of work colleagues. Might have to keep a casual eye over the jobs section if this sort of trust is broken again.....

Has Magshop gone into liquidation?
I purchased a subscription to a Mag back in December and I only receive automated emails saying they are going to get back to me either in 1 – 2 business days if relating to an order or 3 – 4 Business days with any other enquiry but no one ever does.

Dunno but a guy at work told me he had a subscription to a music magazine that wasnt being published anymore, so they just swapped him to a car magazine without even checking if he wanted it. Might be the same company.
