This typically has more to do with the change in barometric pressure than it does the ambient temperature.
You know how they say about people going bonkers in the tropics? Thats why. Stormy weather makes for swift changes in pressure and this impacts upon people quicker than temperature changes do.

People, please, go and get "Beconase" nasal spray. I have suffered ( at times quite badly ) from hayfever most of my life and come August I grab a new bottle and begin using it before the season starts. By the time jasmine ( I hate that stuff ) is in the air I can pretty much tolerate the worst of days.
For mine, tablets dont work. I use Beconase, drink heaps of juice ( pineapple, Multi-V ) and water.
