im researching different ways to come up with a home brew. Looking at producing a bevvie that doesnt have as much of the home brew taste - which looks like it means more time to mature. But i dont mind that providing I can come up with a decent brew. im under no illusions and i do think the first one or 2 may not be completely what im looking for. If im on the right track ill keep it going.

An article in the news today is saying that low carb beers are just a gimic, and are not significantly healthier than standard beer:

http://www.news.com.au/national/drinkers-exploited-by-low-carb-beer-myth-survey-reveals/story-e6frfkvr-1225968560688

I must admit, I've been duped then. I've been drinking it thinking it was a healthier alternative.

I would drink them occasionally, thinking they were a healthier alternative - but it never lasted. They taste like sugar and water, or bloody Budweiser or something! No kick to them.

I got a slab of Beez Neez last night. I'd never tried it before and it turned out to be a bloody nice drop.

You clown Smithy.

You know, I love Cooper's Pale.
But...I reckon the best beer to have after a hard day of work outdoors is a West End Draught.
It is what it is, a simple beer that just slides down nicely and quenches the thirst.

Barecove Radler (formerly known as Barefoot Radler) is a bloody nice drop...

Not too "thick" like a Coopers product, and not as overpowering as a WE Draught style...

On par with Miller's Chill, Carlton Fusion type drinks...

I am a fan...

Stinking hot day last summer and the bloke at the Grog Shop recommended the Barefoot's as the best drop to have on a hot day.

Raced home all nice and excited about this new brew I was about to try and think I had maybe 2 gulps then left the other 5 beers in the fridge for the best part of 6 months before I could pass them off to guests .. Terrible!!
