Lyndoch Bakery has a good reputation, and whilst the food wasn't bad, I did notice they have a bit of a habit of stuffing up orders.

The corner shop bakery in williamstown had the best doughnut until they changed owners. Lyndoch have a nice potato pie. Still Two Wells is the best bakery in my eyes, got to try the place.

Are you serious- these are the foulest pies I have ever tasted- thickened gravox with a couple of lumps of meat. Their fruit buns are so low on fruit its a joke and they use fake cream. I would rather pay more and have a real pie with real meat or a fruit bun with more than two currants in it and real cream.
Now the bakery at Stone Hut is absolutely amazing- delicious pies with real meat and incredinble variety and stunning cakes.
Personally, I don't think there's intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

hahahah you sound like my missus. A Crystal Brook girl who hates the Kupsch experience. I love their stuff and obviously I am a fan of Stone Hut although you need to consult your bank manager before you shop there.

Kiplings at Pt Wakefield is very good, as is Gawler South Bakery. Will put a plug in for Fabulous Baker Boys in Montague Farm at Pooraka as well, friends of mine own it and their choc donuts are quality.

A really good bakery is at Port Augusta. If you are going north on the highway chuck a leftie at the first set of traffic lights and it is just around the corner. A Hugh range of flavoured pies, pasties and cakes etc. it's all going on there.

Is that the French Bread shop or something? Vietnamese I think. Their curry pies are ok I've had them before.
