The Grampians

Had the best time with my first experience

I've always loved The Grampians. Halls Gap is my favourite little town in Australia.

Yeah we stayed in Halls Gap and have to agree what a great little town, looking to make it a yearly holiday considering it's only 5.5 hours away

Good call. There's always plenty for the missus and kids to do around there too.

Did you visit the zoo?

Didn't have time for the zoo as we wanted to do as many hiking tracks as possible but will take the kids next year and the zoo is on the cards, the range of animals looked very impressive

There used to be a really good market in the Primary school grounds, I'm not sure if they still run it though.

I believe there is a 9 hole golf course there as well for a bit of fun.

The markets are on Saturday mornings and the golf course is still there

I know a guy who goes over there with his family and his Melbourne based family go up, they rent out a house for the June long weekend.
He loves it.

The 9 hole course is a little cracker... Really enjoyed it when I Played there, kangaroos on the course and some amazing views

It's about this time of day I start teeing off on some of the reps we have at work, they end up going to "visit customers" or my boss tells me that I should go home if I have nothing more work related to do, it's a win either way.

"Hi Fritz, you're home eating toast with Spongebob on the TV and can you tell your kid to shut up" was my reply as I hung up.

Yeah, if they happen to be here on Friday arvo and on the phone to a customer I walk near them and call out "Your buy Ted"
