The dead rat smell from my ceiling.

I thought this once only to investigate day after day for about a week after work. Alas I find nothing but lost about 2kg as it was summer.
More investigation and nose sniffing I found that the overflow drain on the fridge had blocked and the water was rancid.
The smell only came when I turned on the air con so I thought it was an animal that had eaten into the ducts and crocked it.
Obviously the air con stirred up the smell when on.
