I remember when I was 18, my old man didn't know anything.

I was amazed by how much he learnt by the time I was about 21.

Those people who rely on sms messages to relay communication really give me the shits i.e. come over for a BBq tonight/don't come over tomorrow moring at 6.30 for fishing etc - FFS I do not walk around with my mobile phone up my arse and sometimes it would be nice to get the old school personal touch like a phone call or maybe a followup to make sure you got the message??. I hate missing out and am really over the sms/email/online mentality of some peoples - bring back the good old days of verbal and written communication I say. - this non verbal communication most definitely comes in handy, but i believe. should not be used in place of good old fashion communication types.
