I just came on to say the same, I don't even remember it being this dark on blackout day.

Apparently KI has already copped 30mm

As much as i love a good storm, I wish it would wait until after 5.30pm, cos now every bastard will drive at 20kph on the way home.

Good lightning!

Was out having a hit at Mt Barker Golf Course... came in black as a dog guts, and belted down for a good 30 minutes. We were safely tucked up under the patio area out the front watching it belt down. Nice soft greens tomorrow.

Must have been some high speed winds last night, tree foliage and debree everywhere and there are trees uprooted left right and centre up my way in Craigmore...

Power went out in the TTG area just after 4am this morning.

Got notification a couple of hours ago that it won't be back on until 8:15pm.

With a massive shop done just prior to christmas, I am ****ing fuming.

Mrs Valleys has done a run to the inlaws with some of it, but there is only so much room.

Resigned to losing about $100 worth of food. Not much in the scheme of things, but when people in surrounding suburbs such as Greenwith and Gilles Plains lost power for a couple of hours, or not at all, and TTG is lost for 16 hours, its bulls*it.

As long as fridge and freezer isn't continually opened, food should last that long, except for maybe putting dairy on ice in the esky.

Couple of years ago in the Sampson flat fire, folks power was of for more than 3 days and after two days they moved some frozen fruit, which was still frozen.
