Simon Katich holding down a spot ion the Australian One Day Side.

1) Because there are two standout better options in Jaques and Hayden not to mention Langer who is always overlooked for this role.

2) How the hell did he get this opportunity in the first place. He is so obviously not a one day batsman. The whole of the world knows it

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?

You should check out the cricket forum if you hate katich so much. There is a entire topic which is dedicated to him being a hack. I think you'll enjoy it.

Where are you from Dog_ger? South Aussies don't usually say "telegraph pole", it's usually a good, old Stobie pole.

- Getting a parking fine just as you are walking to your car only to reach your car just in time for parking officer to print it out and give the ticket to you personally

- old people who think its unreasonable to pay $4.50 for a pint of pale, just because back in there day it was only 25c

- people who order there drinks over the bar one drink at a time. Just a note for everyone, bartenders love it when your buying a round and you order all of your drinks at the one time. Instead of "i'll have a pale..........oh and a scotch and coke..............oh yeah and a VB". it's just simply "Hey mate, pale,Scotch coke and VB thanks" Done

- Port supporters that truly believe that the PAFC created the adelaide crows.

- guys who still think it looks cool to put their shirt collars up.

Cher, the woman that was quoted as saying "while a woman is looking for the right type of guy, it is alright to have a good time with all the wrong ones". I know that I took that comment to mean that it is alright to be a "bad boy" because they are the only ones who know how to have a good time.

The Ozzie TV coverage of Golf. We want to see me than just Putting.

Agree wholeheartedly, Coorong. You can probably rattle off dozens of examples of poor or indifferent service but only a handful of occasions when the service was actually good. With all of the money that gets spent on market research and making sure you know what your customers want, it amazes me that service standards are actually deteriorating.

Working with lazy, jaded, middle-aged teachers who give the rest of us hard-working chalkies the bad name we have in the community by conforming to stereotype (i.e., using the same programme for years, knock off at 3:15 sharp, inability to use any form of computing technology, resistance to change). Being the only bloke on staff might sound peachy keen but then the grim reality sets in as you realise you're also the only one who hasn't had a hysterectomy. God help me.

Thats funny zipzap. I did my PAR1 practicum at a school where PE was considered a dirty word. Some of the teachers there were really set in their ways, using texts and resource books from the 70s, didn't know the first thing about computers, and used drill-practice-repeat for everything they did.

I HATE teachers who think PE is just a fun thing, just to pass time, or used as a reward for the class behaving well, or just thrown in for 15 minutes before recess or lunch.

The school I was at for PAR2 last year (Para Hills Primary - Im happy to give them a plug) were brilliant. Every class did PE every day at the same time, and the activities chosen were aimed at developing the fine and gross motor skills of the students. Then on top of this, each class had their own PE lessons each week, usually 2 or 3 times a week.

University lecturers who think that the only good textbooks to use are ones they have written themselves (And therefore selling 200+ copies of their book every semester). As if your $72k a year isn't enough money.
