I'm still astounded by the stupidity:
My friend is 30. Has never, I repeat never, driven to Adelaide alone (when she goes with someone else, that person always drives).
On Friday night she drove to Adelaide, as she had a party to go to the next night.
Doing the right thing, her BF programmed a sat nav program into her phone.
She left Loxton just before six o'clock for a drive that should have taken her three hours at the most.
Her eventual arrival time at her accommodation in Belair? 1.20am.
That my friends is a seven and a half hour drive.
Why did it take so long? The sat nav led her the wrong way and she kept following its instructions, rather than seeking help from a friend or even someone at a service station.
She travelled through the Barossa, Mt Pleasant, Mt Barker, Elizabeth, Norwood and I'm not even sure of anywhere else.
Breath taking in its stupidity!

I see she took the scenic route........even though the last half of the trip was in complete darkness![]()

LOL ! I used to work shift work and finish at midday. Usually I'd have a couple of hours snooze, then get up and have a few hours daylight, before going back to bed and getting up at 4 in the morning for work.
One day must of slept real well, as I woke up and looked at my alarm. 6. s***t ! I'm really late for work ! Jumped up threw on the uniform, ran inside grabbed a apple, said goodbye to Mum & Dad, who looked at me kinda weird. Huh ? Mum & Dad ? WTF !
Yep it was 6 in the evening and they were having tea ! Oops.....I'd only slept for 4 hours but felt like 16 !

My brother was driving and we were in my street approaching my house when I thought I'd prepare for a stunt-man roll as he went up our driveway, I had the door opened and was half hanging out of the rear passenger-side door. He was unaware of this and decided to do his own trick and fly up next doors driveway on his approach to the front lawn, he got really close to the stobie pole and crushed me between the door and the car-body.
I hit the deck like a sack of poo and he thought he'd killed me, I waited a minute then done the big "surpirse, I'm allright" as I jumped up. I never tried that trick again.
I remember being about 9 and thought I'd sneak the old mans slug gun outside to shoot some birds, a pellet bounced off the fence and shot me stright in the eye, there was nothing I could do except put up with a sore eye for about a week, the oldies would of killed me.
Around the same age I wanted to play cricket in our driveway with some friends, the old mans car was in the way, I thought I'd move it myself as he wasn't home, I started it up and it was in gear. I ended up in the backyard with the side gates both smashed off their hinges

The entire post was quality, but I'd really like to give special praise to the one above that forced my Pepsi Max to exit my body via a nostril.
