There may be someone who finds our very existence offensive because of their philosophy, expectations, or social set...

I have an acquaintance (female) who seems to be offended because my hair is still brown - except at the temples - at 69.

Clearly, my existence/style offends you without any intent or effort on my part...

I do illustrate my posts with examples of what I mean because in the early days I seemed to confuse some readers if I didn't.
Like everyone else, I can only draw from my own experience, and I didn't see that one - or others - as reflecting anything about "how good" I am.
After all, "good" or "bad" is a valuation made by the observer.

To me, this one was just an example of an observer's response to something that simply exists and bothers her.
(As, I assume, was yours.)
