I had some shattering news on Friday from my Doctor
Went to the Pub and ordered a jug of beer
Barmaid plonked it in fronta me
I said to her ""You know something, I shouldnt be drinking this with what Ive got.""
"" Why, what have you got ?""
"" About forty five cents.""

Yep, West End Draught is my favourite beer! 8) Followed by Coopers Pale Ale and Sparkling Ale. Drink Coopers Vintage Ale and Guinness about once or twice every 6 months.

Anyone been to the Port Dock Brewery in Port Adelaide??? Been there 3 times a few years back (I rarely go down the Port) and had their Old Preacher Ale...two imperial pints of that is enough alcohol for a day!!! 8) We asked the barman how many pints of Old Preacher have you seen someone drink in one sitting and he replied back with a figure (forget exactly) of up around a dozen.

Had a couple of lovely pales at the Overland Corner Hotel while 'working' today.
Can't recommend the place highly enough and the licensees Heather and Andrew are wonderful people.

They make all sorts of Beer. I remember the menu and it had something like two dozen different beers. I remember there was licorice beer. Pricey but what do you expect when its brewed in house.

Forgive me father for I have sinned.
Tonight I have stepped away from the chosen path of the yeast brew.
I have supped upon Bundaberg rum and cola, and am now transgressing further with brandy.
How should I pay for these transgressions?

at least three public occurrences of manly drinking acts- i.e. sculling contest, drinking from a jug (awesome fun), or a simple "all day" sit in at you local.

keep tuned though, others may have better ideas...

But when your mates question your masculinity, there's nothing like ordering a jug of beer, as opposed to their pints or schooners... 8)
