Seen both sides of the coin.

A now SANFL coach was not selected in an amateur team grand final side as he had only played the bare minimum of games to qualify.

The club went on to win the game but I found it rather ironic that the player who had thought that it was his spot in jeopardy had stood up in front of the group 12 months earlier and said he couldn't play any more due to work. Amazingly by mid season the situation all changed :?

Plenty of supporters were spitting the dummy when they were behind at 3/4 time too over his non selection :lol:

I always found him grossly overrated.

Even though I was a supporter of the team he played for in his so called hey day, I always had him up there as in my top 3 of least rated players ever in that side.

But that's another story... :lol:
