So is your normal month 30 or 31 days?

I too get paid a monthly salary but dont see that I am working today for nothing, quite the opposite in fact. I still getthe same amount of pay as I do in a 31 day month as I do this month.

I too get paid a monthly salary but dont see that I am working today for nothing, quite the opposite in fact. I still getthe same amount of pay as I do in a 31 day month as I do this month.

No, I see it that one month a year I get paid 4 weeks apart, that is most years, 75% of the time this day doesn't occur.

366 / 12 = 30.5 days per month avge

The way I see it, you're 1.5 days in front this month.

Yep, has happened to me when I've served someone (too bloody often).

I've dealt with it a few ways;

1. Call the next customer through, and make the customer I was serving wait.

2. Keep serving the customer and pretend I don't even know they're on the phone.

3. Walk away. Serve them once they've waited for a few minutes "ohh sorry, thought you were still on the phone"

4. Talk really loud to them so they can't hear the conversation they're having...

Agreed. Good to see some shops refuse to serve customers who are on the phone.

For me, I will always end/hold the phone conversation while being served.
