Agreed. I have my costs running at about $7 a carton i honestly truly prefer the draught brew i make to the mighty red death of West End
This summer i have my sh*t sorted as well and i have brewed and bottled 2 x 23 litres and have one in the fermenter for bottling thursday and will brew again on friday as i bought the mix today. FREE BEER ALL SUMMER....SORTA
nice work
ive done 2 european lagers, one was nice and smooth, the other a tad rough but can drink, and is better then west end.
have bottled a canadian blonde and another european lager last thurs/friday, so they should be in prime by mid-late january.
this weekend plan to brew up a stella kit and another european lager but with some finishing hops to add flavour and im also thinking of only filling it upto the 15 litre mark.
$7-$8 is good value when you consider the mix, sterilizing, caps, carb drops etc
