Same! Amazing beer - the only downside being it's price-tag.

Haven't seen it on tap, can't help you there.

I have a vague memory of getting several Pale Creatures drops on tap at the Archer in North Adelaide. However the time which has passed since that night is matched only by the amount of alcohol which I put away on that night, so my memory is necessarily sketchy 8)

I think the Welly in Nth Adelaide has it on tap as well, along with the James Squire range, one of my favourites!

I had a crack at Big Helga the other day. She's not much to write home about, not sure why she made the list. She looks promising, curves in all the right places. Open her up and have a good stab at her and she's boring as really. Shame.

The beer's not much good either. Inoffensive, but dull.

VERY impressive

Also trying a selection from the Regency "Campus Brewery"

Found the "Premium Lager" very average, but the others have been great

Coopers Pale Ale, in a Pint glass.

End of thread.

Only thing that betters it, is when someone else is paying...

Since last posting, Ive tried the Vale Ale which is VERY good.

Also tried the Carlton Dry Fusion Black- very strange, sort of tastes like beer with bitters in it. Not the worst thing going around but would be tough to have a session on.

That was part of my friday night efforts Mattee! I rate myself as a fair drinker, and after half a dozen of those bad boys, I had to move on...

Just downed about 7 pints of Hahn Super Dry at the Bath, then was able to walk about 200m around the corner home !!!

Out of a pint glass or in a stubbie, HSD is very very nice IMHO...

Am currently drinking an Amazon Ale - Riverland made.
Very nice, especially after 6 or so Oranje Boom (or some such) that my mate served up.
The oranje was a 5.0, while Amazon is a 4.7 and much gutsier.

http://www.woolshedbrewery.com.au for more info.

And for the all important bar test...the Amazon goes really well with a bag of plain crisps.
