AO last night to watch my beloved Power straight from footy so had to have dinner there.

Butter Chicken from the Indian booth. I think from memory it's Beyond India. About $20 with a bottle of Sprite.

I guess you can't expect to much from it but wooden fork, paper plate and over priced smallish serve was offset by the fact it bared resemblance to authentic butter chicken, the chicken itself wasn't foul  and the service time was quicker the duration we stood and stared at the menu for.

If your at AO you could eat worse food 6.5/10

My missus and I went to the Gov last night for a gig and decided to go there earlier before the gig started and have dinner. From my experiences they usually have real good food there. Didn't book a table booked and chanced our arm trying to get a table in the restaurant but it was all booked out but it was alright we just ate in the bar area.

We ordered a Pizza each- Margarita and Meatlovers and a bowl of Wedges. The pizzas were really nice, smaller size than we expected and therefore a bit too expensive IMO at $15 but real good quality oven Pizza. Our bowl of wedges was a decent size and were really nice aswell.

It was a thoroughly enjoy meal but I think the pizzas are a bit too pricey for the size you get.

8/10

Chuck Wagon

Heard heaps of good things about this place.

Got a park straight in front of the door. Good start.

We ordered two starters to share. My personal fav, Chilli Cheese Fries and the Smokey Bacon Mac & Cheese.

Image

Both were amazing. We try the CC Fries every place that serves them, and these are the best so far. Nordburgers are a close second.

I got the Black & Blue burger, which is pretty much a cheeseburger with blue cheese sauce and salad.

Image

The missus got the Royale, which from what I saw looked like a normal cheeseburger.

Image

My burger was delicious, and not too filling that I was unable to enjoy anything else.

The missus said its the best one so far.

My drink was the Wagonwheel milkshake. They actually blend a f**kin massive wagon wheel and put it in a vanilla millshake with cream on top. Crazy good.

Image

The missus got the nutella doughnut milkshake after a waitress recommended it. Nutella milkshake with a nutella filled doughnut over the hole, with a straw pushed through it. She enjoyed it.

Image

Everything was served in amazing time. Service was also great.

All in all, the best place for burgers and chilli cheese fries in Adelaide thus far.

I dont wanna go the 10 coz ill get silly comments, but this was as close to perfection as you can get.

9.9/10

Bombay Bicycle Club.

400gm chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce ($18 + $3 for sauce).

10-15 mins from order to table.

Very good value for the size of the bird, as well as getting a very generous serving of creamy mushroom sauce in a jug, instead of gravy with a couple of token mushrooms you can get elsewhere. Chips were the under the schnitty which is a bit of a no-no but the seasoning on them was amazing and worth ordering a bowl on their own for.

Love the place.

9.8. Lost .2 because I had to Google where it is.

Fair to say I will be starving myself one morning and heading there for an attempt at a food coma at some stage soon.

We both had the "full as f**k" coughs going after finishing all the food.

We were saying imagine it a dinner time in there when the place is packed, and everyones finishing their meals at the same time. 60 people all clearing their throats at the same time.

We've just come back from Melb for a 50th. The event was a at Vue De Monde. Food was to die for - although I have to say, it was finger food, not sit down type food. Drinks were warm and badly serviced.

Today, Fatto's at 100 St Kilda Rd Melbourne. Great tasting food, can't fault it! I had a shredded lamb gnocchi. Odd combination but the flavors were magnificent.

After drinks were at HopHaus at Southbank. Some other people ate there and the food smelt and (apparently) tasted sensational.
