there is also some point of the nut cases out there. Nearly once a week you hear about a kid getting molested, some parents see it to dangerous to let kids out like they use too.
I reckon most of the cases of molestation we are hearing about actually occured in the 60's, 70's and 80's and they're just coming to light now. Im not saying it doesnt happen anymore though.

In about 1954 a relieving Cubmaster made an attempt to grope one of my mates at the hall.HH3 wrote: I reckon most of the cases of molestation we are hearing about actually occured in the 60's, 70's and 80's and they're just coming to light now. Im not saying it doesnt happen anymore though.

No 5 second rule in your house then!
A 3 minute rule!!
I found things that I dont even remember having in the first place. Depends what it is, and if its likely the cats had an opportunity to mess with it. Things like lollies will always get a look in.
Having said that, if any dairy is on or just after its "best before" date...STRAIGHT IN THE BIN!!!

My experience with is that Bulla Pure Cream is fine for several days past its "use by" date, but milk rarely lives past its date.Sky Pilot wrote: Just checked the milk and cream in my fridge. Cream use by apr02 still tastes fine and I will be putting on strawberries tomorrow night. Milk date up last Monday but also is fine. I take everything except raw chicken and pork past the use by dates

this! the night before the date, it's fine, 12 hours later at brekkie time on the 'best before' date, i can't touch it. think thats more of an OCD thing than a germ/sickness thing for me though.

Some would say don't chuck milk when you can ferment it to make a delightful range of products or beverages!Booney wrote:I'm not lactose intolerant, I drink loads of milk, but I always chuck the milk out on the date that is stamped on the bottle.
I've had milk cause a swift "evacuation" ( well at least thats what I think it was ) before, so I dont risk it anymore.
