My daughter after her first set of vaccinations after she left hospital (i think that's 4-6 weeks, my missus knows this sorta stuff  ) had a positive effect, went from waking up twice a night to sleeping through the night and and on occasions she slept from 8pm til 9am... Her sleeping pattern was awesome. But if that is a side affect then i'm i'm down for it.
The only downside to our experience was seeing my little girl lose her sh*t when the injections happened. There was a short pause to see what the hell was happening then BAM... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... after 5 minutes she was fine.

For me the answer lies in how many illnesses vaccines have eradicated v how many they've caused.

I had a massive allergic reaction when I was in Year 4 and broke out in a full body rash at school. I was then told I wasnt allowed to have any more vaccinations, and missed two lots between then and year 8.

When I was 19 or 20 I went in for a tetanus shot and the doc gave me a vaccination to catch me up or something. I didnt really pay attention.

Kids are soft as shit these days....I came home covered in lead infested mud everyday as soon as I was allowed to rule the streets in my bicycle gang. Now all they do is stay home and play xbox in 99.9% germ free homes.

Thats not kids being soft, thats over protective parents from earlier generations making sure nothing can go wrong. Very hard for a 5-10 year to do something if mummy says they're not allowed to.

Yes it is, when your mum tells you not to play in mud...you make sure you play in mud. Now all kids want to do is play x box.

and their a lot sicker.

I reckon it's because parents don't let their kids eat dirt anymore

Well tell them to get out more! Mine only come inside when it's too dark to ride their bikes, kick the ball or play cricket.

I found things that I dont even remember having in the first place. Depends what it is, and if its likely the cats had an opportunity to mess with it. Things like lollies will always get a look in.

Having said that, if any dairy is on or just after its "best before" date...STRAIGHT IN THE BIN!!!

there is also some point of the nut cases out there. Nearly once a week you hear about a kid getting molested, some parents see it to dangerous to let kids out like they use too.

I reckon most of the cases of molestation we are hearing about actually occured in the 60's, 70's and 80's and they're just coming to light now. Im not saying it doesnt happen anymore though.
