We've had a trade show / conference planned for May in Melbourne cancelled. As an organisation we'd spent considerable money on the stand, flights, accommodation and conference facilities.

We've had parties in our supply chain email us to tell us they're experiencing delays with goods inwards and no sign of change anytime soon.

We've, as an organisation, implemented some control measures for drivers coming in and out of our premises.

If you don't want to take it seriously that's up to you, but if there's ever been a case of being proactive as opposed to reactive then this is it.

Proactive? As in stocking up on shit paper and carrying on like a pork chop because 9 people in SA have it? No thanks. I shouldn't say that, there might be 10 people that have it by the end of the week

No additional toilet paper than what we already stock and I haven't had pork chops for a month or so, might get some.

You can act as you see fit, no need to give those who are taking other action shit because of it.

We're not stockpiling anything, we're not sending baby formula to China. All we've done is ask our staff to be more vigilant with infection control measures here and at home and have asked people visiting our site to sanitise their hands prior to entering the building.

It's better than trying to sell a house atm, a mate of mine is trying to sell his house that he's rented out for 12 years, it's in excellent condition but he wont even get back what he paid for it, soon they'll have no deposit home loans.
