Feeling crook at work and not being able to skive of. It really does blow! It's going to be fun trying to run a training session when I sound like Rod Stewart. I might break into 'Do ya think I'm sexy'. With a bit of luck everyone will piss off so I can do the same.

The next two days are going to be tough. :(

regards,

waiting 20 minutes for a baked potato last night, even though there were only 2 people in front of me at the shop.

I could have bought one, gone home, cooked it and ate it in that time :?

To boot, when I got home (3 minute drive at the most) it was almost cold :?

My boss telling me they had to downgrade my performance appraisal because upper management thought it was too high and they want to cap pay increases. My boss then refused to grade me, only gave comments.
Last year I got a 3/5 for attendance despite not having a day off all year.

That the missus doesn't realise how tough it is breaking a habit of a lifetime and not going to the footy every Saturday, like I have for the past 27 years.

my missus catching a girl shoplifting today with $400.00 worth of adidas tracksuits in her bag. She rings the cops and presses charges and then the girl's old man rings her from town and abuses her for pressing charges saying her career will be ruined etc. she should have thought about that before she flogged the gear.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Amen brother!!

Despite my tough talking over summer and doing all requested around the house plus more, whilst throwing out threats of "That's OK, Footy season will be here soon and I don't wanna hear any ******* whinging when I go every week" along the way ... Have sadly caved and missed a shedload of footy this season :(

It is dependant on where you work though, some places, reset your sick leave after 12 months, some let them accrue...
