did you ever think that maybe he is too young to remember back that far? i dont really remember centrals being shit. i only really started following sanfl closely in the late 90's early 00's. i know port won a flag (maybe 2?) in the late 90's, but i dont remember it. but i do remember the years north won flags before i took an interest as they are my side, history remembers the highlights, and glosses over the lows. i remember norths crap performance in 2003, as i was there every game. i dont remember any crap seasons over 20 years ago as i wasnt there.

when i met UK in real life he certainly wasnt any older than me, i suspect a year or two younger, so it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest that he really doesnt know much about the years centrals did crap, or port did good. all that matters is recent history anyway, and in recent history port have done nothing in the sanfl.

I question him to see if he actually knew port where a more successful club then centrals. All he wants to remember is centrals from 2000 on wards. It's ok if he only started following then, but when you try to bag another club for having a few crappy years you might want to have a look at history and see how your club matches up over history.
