getting a speeding fine. sending a notice back saying i didnt do this speed at this certain time. Then having to painly wait for the court hearing, then get a notice in the mail that the speeding fine has be withdrawn due to 'technical error' and all money and demerit points will be refunded and added to driving license.

That's disgusting behaviour.

You'll probably find that the driver just didn't want to get caught up in 'anything'.

With behaviour like that - wouldn't surprise me if the guy jumped out of the cab and took off without paying anyway.

Isn't it ever...Rundle Mall tram stop is a perfect example of this.
You almost need someone to drop the shoulder and put a block on for you to get out of the tram.

Happened to my Mrs. about four years ago. We were out at a birthday party somewhere in Hindley St. and she wanted to go back to the motel and I wanted to kick on with the lads. Anyway I put her in a cab and started walking down the street and next thing I know she is running up behind me crying and shaking.

Apparently when the cab stopped at the lights (about 20 metres) from where she got in, 2 blokes who were both bloodied jumped in and told her to get out. The cabbie just looked at her and shrugged his shoulders. We ended up walking to the Casino and jumping in a cab there. Never did get to kick on with the lads, and got none at the motel either cause she was still upset (fair enough)!

Tell me about it. Ruined both our nights. Would have been so much easier if the lights were green and it never happened. Oh well, saved about $300 bucks on overpriced piss though!
