Probably an old case and isn't active.

Did 14 day quarantine in Sydney. Had a fall, had 10 days in hospital, came back here July 8th, showed symptoms on the weekend 11 days after coming back in from Sydney.

Was 14 days in total, combined in medi hotel and hospital

It was my anniversary on Thursday so I had a few reds, I have barely drank for about three weeks so I woke up a bit rough.

I had every intention of knocking off at 2pm and heading to Gaganis and Omega Foods but didn't as I couldn't be stuffed by then, I'm not sure if I'm disappointed or not.

No crowd at football I’d imagine or at the very least reduced capacity

I hope the source of his infection is NSW.

If he's acquired in it since Jul 8 (his return to SA), trouble is coming. However you'd think that there would already be positive test being recorded if it has been locally community acquired.

Wouldn't shock me if he caught it in Argentina.
There are a growing number of cases that take more than 14 days to build up a suitable viral load to test positive (testing positive after they've left quarantine).

The delta variant isn't a super-version, it's a mild version. Fewer deaths per case, lower symptoms, harder to test positive.
The reason delta is a super spreader with an R value of 5 instead of 2.5 is because it's so mild people don't know they have it. Instead of being home in bed crook, they are going about their normal lives.

While it wouldn't shock me if he caught it in Argentina, the strong money would be he picked it up during his 10 days in NSW hospital after he fell over.

Oh and I'm not convinced the daughter and grandson testing negative means much. Could be the just haven't build up enough load yet.

2nd press conference at 3:30 this arvo to confirm how many more rules they are going to put in place.
