Just back from a successful trip up with the school to the National Finals of the Schoolaerobics competitions... (also includes Dance stuff)...

The school had only won 1 gold medal since it started competing in these comps and that was in 1996, they came back from the comps this year with 6 gold medals and 3 bronze... AMAZING effort...

My little boys Hip Hop team won a bronze so they (and their proud parents) were stoked...

It is great to work at a school that enables the kids to compete in events like this and then allows some of us staff to go and support, manage and encourage the kids in their competition...

We took up 88 kids, from year 4 to year 12... and everyone had a great time.

I love my job...

My niece was competing in that, and I'd seen most of her local performances and finals etc, great sport for the kids. Those results for your group from what I understand are exceptional!!!

It was mental, we thought we had a good chance in the Secondary Hip Hop Large group and the senior girls aerobics trios but the others were bonuses...

Gold medals were in...

Junior Cheer large team
Secondary senior hip hop large group
Secondary senior contemporary group
Primary Junior theatrical group
Secondary senior girls aerobics trios
Future Legend (U5) contemporary solo

Bronze medals were in

Senior secondary theatrical group
Junior Primary hip hop large group
Junior Primary contemporary solo

A massive haul of medals...

Such an awesome weekend...

The car ad where the guys offers the chick a lift at the airport.
And thinks she's pregnant.

Great ad.

Probably because they are "Dad jokes", but I cant get enough of the Toyota Camry ads with Huey Lewis "Hip to be square" playing.

I smile every time I see one, especially the bloke taking the screamer at mid-wicket who drops it to save face. Good marketing.

I remember the big urban myth when I was in Year 7 was that Marilyn Manson had had his lower ribs removed so that he could give himself big hugs whenever he wanted.

Having a $15 free bet on Sportsbet, placing it on a $7 thing and cha ching chaching.

That will pay for a carton of beer to watch the soccer with tonight.
