We get the batsmen out of the pooh when they fail and we make bowlers (especially spinners) look good with our sure quick glove-work to give them poles. We lift the standard of the fielding and risk injury cleaning up the shite-ful returns to the stumps. We are fair, we give "inciteful" sporting advice to the opposition and ensure the captain knows what the hell is going on as they count clouds looking for inspiration....
