Got a wedding in Wirrabara tomorrow so will be checking out the local there.

Both are good pubs. Barry runs Wirrabara and Paul and Shaun run the north Laura. Just remember that footy is a hot button topic because the two pubs are major sponsors of Southern Flinders which came second in the GF this year.

Hey MC the service at the Royal in Balak was spot on. We were there mid afternoon so it was quiet.

Had lunch on Thursday at Mount Mary, Publican Pete is a good bloke & the locals are genuinely interesting oddbods, surrounded by great countryside & within 15 minutes of Morgan makes this a top stopover.

I think there's four hotels in Quorn! The Transcontinental and Austral are on opposite corners and they are the foodies pubs so I guess you were at one of them.
