No but I have been going there for about 40 years now. I also got married on the lawn at The Victory Hotel December 3rd 2003. I know, we should all go there at the end of the footy season for a major piss-up & finally put a face to all these names!

No, Magpie. My parents were living in Birdwood at the time. Gumeracha was the nearest hospital. Soon afterwards we moved to Christies Beach. I did play (badly) for the Morphett Vale Primary School, though. :)

Been here a while: haven't added my intro, so here goes....

Age 30 and 14 days.
Team: Centrals
Other teams: Collingwood, Redbacks, Northern Districts, Adelaide United, Sunderland, Glasgow Rangers, Palermo and Slough Town.
Fave football memory: Representing the CFDC at junior level and playing with and against blokes who went on to be stars. Centrals' first premiership and then dropping off newspaper clippings at my grandfather's grave the next day (he died a year earlier). Having the chance to write for The Football Budget when I was at uni.

Oh yeah....one of the other fave memories is of drinking with the Grog Squad at Prospect one day (had spoken to Wedgie and others through Big footy) when they decided they didn't want to see North lose by more than 10 goals to Centrals again. When the Dogs kicked the fateful goal, a piece of plastic was wrapped around the bar at the southern goals and the Groggies started to sing and chant. Very, very funny. Even got a mention in a sports column I was contributing to at the time.
