Goodluck with the move Trev.

Hope they don't 'object' / 'make a scene' about you taking the fridge or anything else you own.

After you've moved I'd still be ringing the mother or other authorities re the little boy - for his own safety/welfare.

Sheesh Trev.

Sounds like SERIOUS heartache there - and I feel for you!

I also feel for the little lad you've been looking after....

As A Mum said, might be worth making a call to child protection, not that I would be holding my breath there but at least something could go on a file - (it might be important in the future but here's hoping the future doesn't travel that path, hey).

Keep your chin up! ;)

Trev good luck with everything. I am feeling for the poor lad who will suffer becuase you are now gone from his life. You are a bigger person than your ex flat mate and good to see you are sticking them with the extra weeks rent.

Trust me Trev you made the right choice.

You will be kicking yourself for not making it sooner.

Let me know if you need some extra muscle/security for the move ;)
(that was a joke i'm not really offering)

On another note, as stated before I'd make a call regarding the young fella.

Good luck with the move Trev.

I would also echo everyone's suggestions about calling the child protection hotline about the lad. They need to hear about your concerns and put them on file - I'd say from reading your posts that odds are there would already be one open for the poor tacker.

Well there you have it. I have moved and feel so much better for it.
Got to my old place at 9 30 am to find the exes still asleep. Excellent.
Packed up all my stuff Including Fridge (and all contents I had purchased) and,
like a Ninja, was gone before they awoke.

New place is somewhat smaller but the vibe of the house and living conditions
put old house to shame.

Surprisingly have had no contact from exes as of yet.

As for HM son, well he only really has him during school holidays and I am confident that his living conditions when with his mum and stepdad are more than satisfactory. I will however be making a call regarding the recent events and to urge them to mark it down as a "place of interest" during the long Christmas holidays.

Glad you got out of there alive Trev O:)
And I hope your new place works out to be comfortable and harmonious O:)

Will be interesting to see if 'exes' contact you or not - probably only looking for the rent ...lol !

They may not have even noticed you missing if it wasn't for the fridge..lol.

Good on you Trev but I wouldn't buy the 'methodone' excuse for the trashing of your room if it were all about needing a hit they would've taken your money (and anything not bolted down) instead of just blatantly trashing your room. Regardless what absolute pigs.

All the best Trev, just hope the CSA don't start hitting you up for child support as you seemed to be a part-time parent there.

Trev - perhaps you could draft an ad for "Room to Rent" and pass it on to Media Park to draw to the attention of his HM. I know the two places may be somewhat distant from one another, but it's worth a try just for the laughs it might bring to you, MP and us! ;)

"Room for Rent"

Male seeks sensible female to share house. Preference given to applicants who have a fridge.

I'm sure you two can expand on that a bit....

Just got a call from another mate.

They are NOT happy I have gone

The name calling and feeble attempts to discredit me have begun

Hm alleging that I owe them in excess of $700 =))

also threatening to press charges for child abuse

My mate who has been there, seen the conditions and saw my trashed room told him that he is only going to make himself look more stupid as everyone who has had any connection with them in the last six weeks and seen what I have put up with will back me up to the hilt.

Not worried about child abuse allegations because I have nothing to hide, plus how can they say the house is fit for kids when they don't even have a fridge ;)

Interesting that they don't have the guts to contact me direct.
Having said all that, I have moved on and will not allow them to drag me down to their level and into a slanging match.
