Sunday Mail, 3rd Editor in 11 months

David Penberthy has quit as Editor of the Sunday Mail for a gig on radio at 5AA. He will continue to write columns for News Ltd.

It will mean the Sunday Mail will have it's third Editor in 11 months.

News Ltd have also axed the Adelaide Magazine which appears monthly in Thursdays Advertiser.

Five minutes after the tryhard shock jock lectured all of us for not paying for news on the internet and we should all pay News Ltd to give their website clicks, the evil ABC with their 'free' news on the internet etc and then bang he's gone.

The guy is a d!ck and his recent pot shots in his column at the ABC and QandA have been pathetic and purile to say the least.

I would love a local newspaper that is not just an extended LeCornu's ad and a forum for C grade local celebraties to sprout their right of centre politically conservative views to us all.

Maybe I start one

He wrote those columns about the ABC after learning their wage and because they didn't want him!

Couldn't disagree more.

I quite like Penbo (is it OK to say that?) and think that he doesn't exhibit any politic basis either way, just calls it how he sees it.

Oh, and I'd touch up his new missus any day of the week.
