Getting a job in Darwin is very easy. Great place to make a career change. The misses went from IT to "something" in the NT gov, and had been promoted 3 times in 6 months. I got the first job i applied for, unfortunately. In fact got the first 2 I applied for and I wasn't even trying. The only unemployed people here DON'T want to work. Everything moves at a slower pace here. Can take a little while to get used too. There are some negatives to Darwin, but it is hugely out weighed by the positive.
