Postby Mickyj » Wed Feb 09, 2011 7:18 pm

Well the big move approaches.Went and had a look at a townhouse last Friday .Put on a list (by chance its owned by an SA Charity for low income workers to rent ) .
Monday night got a phone call sounded like i would miss out .
Tuesday morning my Team leader said the lady from this charity was checking up and seeing if I did work there. Then she asked my team leader how long i had worked with the company.Good answer this by my team leader well I've been here 11 yrs and mick ;) has been here a lot longer than me.
Five minutes latter I have the Townhouse !!!
Headaches started when getting electricity changed some smart sparky or builder put the wrong addy in cost me a few phone calls to sort that out !!!
SGIC lady I could have throttled after 30minutes online .
But we are getting there may get to start packing Friday or Saturday
 Some new furniture getting delivered after hand over yippee!!
So Westies your about to get a new neighbour

I used to live in the block of flats to the right hand side of the club. It's a fantastic social club there, and excellent bar staff. The head barman, Mark, is still there too - good bloke. Mickyj - you'll love Happy Hour Fridays :)
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

The old Railway Workmens homes hey mickey?

Live on Davenport Tce and Albert St before the redevelopment, pity Phil doesn't own the deli anymore, best food around back in the day.
