If we're talking lottery jackpot amounts then after giving most to charity the first thing I'd do is look for an estate agent and an architect within spitting distance of somewhere like Eden Park and draw up plans for my 2 bedroom dream bungalow :d :ympray: ooooh and join Qantas frequent flyer for the weekly commute to watch the Legs play.

i wouldn't change much at all, i would look after family & friends first, invest the rest & as they say ''live off the interest'' the only change i would make is that i would be giving my 2 weeks notice & resting
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

1st up Id buy a huge block of land.

Then Id travel the world for a few years! 1st year would be all the music festivals, 2nd year would be all the major sporting events and the 3rd would be just seeing all the things i missed.

And when i get back from the adventure, I'd build a mansion on the block of land :D

The first $10K would pay off current debts, then I'd build a ridiculous CASTLE to live in, purely as a talking point.

Too much common sense here people.
Maybe I should have said:

"If you suddenly came into BIG $$$'s what is the first silly self indulgent thing you'd buy ?"

Let your imaginations fly gang !

I'd buy Football Park, then blow it up and turn it into a housing estate.

In that case, I'd buy facebook, just to bring back my bathtub photo.

And a pub.

Better to have the dream house under construction while you are away Real 3. You could pop back every few months to check up on the details and by the time your three-year junket is over your house and garden will be waiting.
Caution! You are now entering the no-spin zone...

Manchester United & Chelsea, then sell all their players, run the clubs into the ground and close the door behind me.

Then I'd buy an island.

I'd buy the Sydney Opera House and turn it into a massive pub with small bands like Pearl Jam and the Fooies playing every other weekend.
