Body piercings

What does everyone think of them?

I'm not into face piercing at all, but I think ears, tongue, etc are all cool. Has anyone had any experience with "interesting" piercings?

Good topic Miss Shagwell. Personally I don't really go for it, but I am interested in knowing what the attraction is.
Please excuse my sheltered understanding, but is it the feel, look, cultural connection, or what is it that attracts a person to get more than just their ears pierced?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

I don't even have my ears pierced and cant be screwed getting them done. Although I did go through a phase once of wanting my tongue pierced, but I think that was more of a case of wanting to piss my mum off than anything else. Now I just want a tattoo, of what I havent decided yet.

Met a guy last year who had a Prince Albert (use your imagination), honestly I dont know what convinces people to do that.

For me, definitely not anything cultural.

It's a combination of the feel and look, not just the feel of the piercing itself, but the kinda sassy feeling you get from having it. For example, I think a pierced belly button on a toned stomach looks cool, feels good, and gives you incentive to bare your stomach.

Definitely something I have done for me though and not for anyone else.

You have to really want to do it... the pain and not being able to eat has to be for a reason...

added pleasure? Yes, I'd love to have my valuables skewered with a rusty meat hook...
Seriously, I'm not into piercings as they are "passe"- as I have a punk background, everyone's got piercings, so I decided to stand out by not having them. I have tatt's tho, they are more meaningfull to me.

I always wanted to get my eyebrow pierced, but it was pretty inappropriate for work so it never eventuated .. Other than that, and an ear ring I've never been much into piercings myself, but as always have respect for the choices that others make for themselves

Pretty sure Miss Piggy had her ears pierced, and I reckon Animal had various places done.

P.S Thanks for the explanantion Miss Shagwell. I guess for a fat bloke like me the belly piercing would possibly be a turn off for the ladies if I gave it a try?
