Am looking for a patio heater and am quite interested in an ethanol heater.
Does anyone have any experience with one? Is it any good? Is ethanol for a heater readily available?
Appreciate any advice.

Don't they burn Methylated Spirit which is just Ethanol with some Methanol in it to make it unsafe to drink?Quichey wrote:Ethanol can be pretty hard to acquire. It raises eyebrows, if ya know what I mean.

It possibly gives off less incompletely oxidised hydrocarbons than LPG, but I'm not sure.
