I saw the sister's of the girl interviewed yesterday and they were going off at the police about it. Their words were "it wasn't his fault. He is a great bloke, even though he was a criminal. It's the fault of the police". What a load of crap.

Clearly the owner of the stolen car is the person who should be sent to jail if we follow the logic of this family. Or perhaps whoever invented the wheel...

The only positive out of this tragedy is that the taxpayers wont have to fork out $$$$ to keep the Arsehole (oh sorry, i forgot - he was a GREAT bloke apparently) driver of the stolen car in jail for 12 months b4 he'd be released to re-offend again and probably kill a few more innocent people. (oh sorry, i forgot - it was the police who were responsible)

Absolute disgrace, the mother should be looking at the way she brought up her son instead of trying to blame the Police, also reading through the comments on the news.com.au website alot of people are trying to pin the blame on the courts and the justice system which is laughable in this case as the driver 10 month ago had been in a coma when he crashed another stolen car, so how can you blame the justice system if a person didnt learn from almost dying?

Perhaps he shouldn't have been out of jail to re offend so soon, that is the only part that the leagal system has to take some of the blame for, the rest lays fairly on the shoulders of the offender/s
