Honestly, if you want to avoid prams in showbag hall don't go there when every single family is getting show bags .. ie, the end of the day! 4pm - 6pm would be the worst time. We walked around that Hall at 1pm and most stands had staff twiddling their thumbs. Hardly anyone in there at all.

Go on some rides or get a pass out and go back at 8.00pm. Or you can hire lockers for $2 or pay $5 or so to get bags minded for the day so you could get them first thing and pick them up at the end. Even the pram families could follow that advice. The only problem is that kids then want to go straight home.

No better ideas mate sorry, will probly be pushing one around myself one day soon so better go easy!!

I was just amazed at how many people were in there (with and without prams) and no one seemed to be moving, reminded me of the days when the bags were in Hamilton Hall, maybe they need an entry and exit door at and a path that goes one way up and down all the aisles, or maybe some yellow shirt security guys to direct traffic, must be some spares now that the minor round is over! ;)
Trust the process.

Haven't been for years. My eldest daughter has been once. We are usually either overseas or interstate when the show is on. Just got back from the Gold Coast, so Theme Parks wins....

I used to go every year with my Pa, and spend half the day at the Wood Chop and the other bit in the cattle yards or arena. Loved that side of the show, but since my Pa passed away all those years ago, it just doesn't feel right going there with out the old bugger.....
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated
