That's poo, the numbers we're shown on the 8:30pm newsbreak, the earliest I have seen them.

Hmm ok. I'm glad I used "apparently" then 8)

Great stuff, I wrote that in then deleted, wasn't your fault that you were mis-informed, it does p!ss me off each week though when they don't have a set time for a draw on any of the nights.

Apparently the draw was meant to be shown live at 8pm.

Normally the draws are shown on half hour delay, so normally shown around the 8:30 mark.

I'm not ignorant and I go in syndicates with my friends and work colleagues. The numbers that get drawn are not computer generated, they are random numbers that get drawn out, the more tickets you have, the greater the chance of winning.
If one of my syndicates cleaned up on Tuesday night, I'd be as equally happy with just a $3M return as I would with a $53M, it's still enough to set the rest of my life up comfortably.

I know what you are saying, but why not just enter a $3M lotto draw by yourself then and not have to worry about the hassle of splitting the prize amongst the syndicate? Depending on the exact number of entrants etc... on average you have a slightly better chance of winning $3M that way than going in the syndicate in a $53M draw. Seriously.

Plus it is much easier to remain anonymous when going alone.

If you referred to "my kids" as feral, thats not generalising though, thats specific.

"All kids are feral" is generalising. Then, because I know it isnt true in my kids case, I couldnt care less.

No, you miss the point, I'm saying if I referred to all Port supporters as feral and your kids would be Port supporters you'd be narky, we'll I'd expect you to going referencing past reactions from yourself, I know smac would as he has been in the past even with generalisations not referring to his kids which was my point. Sorry mate, I'll remember to spell it out slowly for you, my fault for thinking it was obvious and I sincerely apologise for that. ;)
PM me if you can't work any other posts today, it might be easier. :)

And I don't care what the odds are, if it's 90 million, I'm in it !!

I agree A Mum =D>

I spent around the $18 mark.

2 x $5 shares in work syndicate.

1 x easypick.

The best I done was 2 numbers as usual....

I never gamble, but the chance to win $100M....

Umm dogger, you do realise that'd be like saying you don't drink just after admitting you downed a bottle of really cheap scotch?
As an example there's no lotto in Hong Kong because its gambling and all gambling except for Horse Racing and pari-mutue is illegal.

As discussed at depth on Sunday, time to get the flute serviced.
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.
