No doubt the various security forces did a good, no great job. My concern is that we may not always have the government we have now, a left wing government might decide to round up old fascists like yourself (and possibly me, but then again I do watch the ABC)

I just think it is a disgrace that these ilk are using the Muslim religion to justify this crap. They are not Muslims, they are downright criminals, there is a difference. When someone opens fire on police just because they are approached, that's got guilty written all over it.
I have studied the life of Malcolm X (who was a devout Muslim, perhaps one of the most famous in American history) and his views on when it is time to fight back and how to lead life are very close to the mark IMHO.
Anyone who thinks Australia is a chance of becoming an Islamic state is living in an absolute fantasy world of the most exaggerated order.
I do feel sorry for the true Muslims who follow the Koran to the letter of the law and have to put up with the small minority that confuse Islam with Terrorism.
