Anyone know anyone that does Uber in their spare time?

I did know someone who was doing it earlier this year but he has since quit. He was doing food deliveries not people deliveries

Yeah, I know of someone doing uber eats and a door dasher but the money is in delivering people, I was wondering the pros and cons with it financially and where esle would I start asking questions than an internet site with random people disguising themsleves with all sorts of weird names?

I have always wondered about this
It costs me about $10 -$12 to get into town.
Some of them drive further to pick me up than the actual trip
How do you account for the massive depreciation on your car from racking up 100's of kms every week?

Take one pallet to Perth for $500 on a trailer and its not worth it. Take 18 pallets to Perth on one truck at $500 each. Now we're talking.

Same with Uber, do 5-8 jobs a night after work at $8 each it's not worth it. Run the car 24/7 and do 200-250 jobs a week at $8. Now we're talking.
