In my teens I had a frozen burger, I worked in the freezer section in a supermarket and was given one to try. Followed directions, had food poisoning for 4 days!

My old man was a ships watchman on the wharf for years, they sat at the top of the gangplank making sure who was going on and off were allowed to do so.

They'd get fed morning, noon and night when the kitchen on the ship knocked out the meals.

Long made short :

Dad - Oh, nice *pats tummy*

Chef from non English speaking back ground - Good, good?

Dad - Yeah, good, good. Oink oink?

Chef - *shakes head* Ahhh woof a woof

Dad empties contents of stomach over the side of the ship.
