Was at my Uncle's farm on Anzac Day and he has seed in the ground after getting 20mils on Easter Saturday, he is just north of Kapunda, he did say that a few of his mates just down the road got nothing.

High pressure back dominating the weather. Warm sunny clear days with southeasterly winds with coldish nights and little or no rain.
We could see this pattern for the whole of May.
We will start seeding dry on Monday and hope like last year it rains eventually.

It’s been so dry kangaroos have been coming down from Black Hill into the streets here at the top of Athelstone, making driving at night interesting. :-SS

We had a thunderstorm come up from the South and dumped about 10mm but it was very isolated. For example the front half of a 500ac paddock was wet but the back half dry. Apparently Maitland had 20mm in 20 minutes. Paskeville had plenty of water laying around when I went to training Tuesday night.
